Mine does. We only eat free range meat and wild caught fish and eggs from free range chicken all from a nearby farm. Florida Farms to Forks where we get most of our produce and fruit too. All organic....no pesticides or antibiotics. Anyway, Screexh loves chicken, all kinds of fish and even a little,pork....all grass fed meat. We don't eat much beef, so he hasn't tried that. Is this unusual? I mean, he probably only gets it once a week, but he absolutely loves it! I have to put him in his cage when I'm feeding the dogs because he goes, for, the dog food! He gets a great and varied diet of super premium pellets and fresh fruit and veggies along with brown and other whole grain rice, tree nuts now and then, etc. So he shouldn't be missing protein in his diet....he eats eggs and egg shells too. Crazy, right? :orange:

BB will eat a small pc of steak once in awhile. About the size of a bottle cap. LOVES It.

He also eats chicken. Very little . He loves chicken bones. Cracks them open for the marrow.

Chicken bones with a little meat on them are big in my household. Sydney will eat anything and definitely knows when I'm holding out on the good stuff and will charge my plate! Him and Gonzo will get a little crouton sized piece of steak on the off chance I have it, but they'll definitely try to take the whole thing from me!

Just be careful to not give too much meat, but a little every now and again is perfectly fine!

My U2, my quakers and my cockatiel get chicken or fish once a week and a little boiled egg with the shell occasionally.

Nips here and there. Maybe Once every three months I might crush up a whole boiled egg and feed it to him over a the course of a week.

It's not that crazy. My avian vet, when I quizzed her about complete vs incomplete proteins, pointed out the vast majority of parrots are insectivorous to varying degrees in the wild. Doesn't mean go crazy with meat but it is a good occasional supplement to their diet.
