I'm kinda bored, they're kinda bored. It's a great set up, but it's been this way for a long while. I'm trying to think of something I can change or add to make it a little more challenging for the flock.

Here's what I have to work with:

This is the main play space

And this is a wide shot of the whole room (It's messy....sorry)

And the view looking the other direction.

Goofy's cage is just behind the stone wall. That wall doesn't go all the way to the far wall. There's a walk through between this room and what used to be a formal dining room but is now MrC's office. Goofy gets really upset if he can't see MrC from his cage, so that's where it had to go. My desk is in the middle of the room, and I like it that way, so I can keep an eye on things all day.

Any thoughts or ideas for changes or new things for the spoiled rotten birdies to do?

What about incorporating a cargo climbing net of some sort?

Your bird room is amazing! Where can you get a wood tree like that for smaller birds?
I agree that a climbing net would be a good idea, I have one and it provides a play area up high so they have to fly to it. Birds generally prefer high places.

Ohhhh! Good Idea. I could stretch it between levels of the big PVC play gym. Right now they climb using just plain rope or plastic chain.

More birds?? :)

I'd rather not go through another divorce

I'm not entirely sure where this one came from. It came in with a foster bird and I incorporated it into the main play space.

RIP Gandalf and Big Bird, you are missed.
I also think the room is perfectly situated for a climbing net.

LOL at Oscar inspecting the carpet protector in second pic!

More like eating the floor, Scott. He’s such a brat. I love him so much.

I’ve been forbidden to put any more hooks in the ceiling. Now I’m trying to figure out where to put a rope net. Hmmmmm.

So the giant play gym was really built for Charlotte and wasn't all that usable for the smaller birds, so I decided to make some changes to it. I took the large swing down from the ceiling chain and moved it to the center of the play gym, along with some ropes for climbing, a new boing, and moved the old swings to make them more appealing.

Goofy is a fan.

Goofy was even a fan before I put everything on the play gym

And Lily has already figured out where I keep the treats. I opened up this part of my desk to get more hardware, which is also kept here, and she came rushing over to insist on a walnut.

I'm still working on adding stuff to the play gym, and additional stuff on other parts of the playground. I'm just not completely sure what yet.
