I only have experience with conures. There is a local person selling a proven breeder pair of white capped pionus with a blue body for $500.00
I want to get them.
Is this a good price? Are there any special things I should know?
They will be in the opposite side of the livin room from where my conures are, but can they coexist? Of course they need to be supervised and can't be housed together. But what if they do get close?
Realistically, how much would I sell their babies for or should I "remove" the eggs?
I'm very curious and will be looking up more information but any information from experienced individuals is greatly appreciated!

my cousin owns a pionus and conures, she loves both, but they don't love one another :(
I live in Canada, just north of Toronto, Ontario, prices here are around $600-$800, depending on where u buy them from. $500 sounds about right(I'm guessing) if you live in the states, which I'm sure you do :)
sorry I can't be of more help, but I'm sure other members will be able to offer more advice

I've had Piper, my baby maximillian pionus, for about 4 or 5 months now and I love her to death. If you don't know much about pionus parrots at this point, I would recommend checking out this site as a starting point: Pionus Parrot's Website. When I was doing my initial research it helped me out a lot! There are a few "quirks" with pionus parrots that are good things to know. For instance, they make a "wheezing" sound when excited or scared. It can sound like they are having a hard time breathing, but it is actually totally normal.

$500 for a breeding pair of white caps seems reasonable to me based on what I've seen. I would just definitely make sure you know what you're getting into before deciding to breed them. As far as pricing for babies, I've generally seen white caps going for around $250-$450.

Let me know if you have any other questions. I think there are a couple other people on the forum who have pionus parrots as well.
