Why do people do that? I kept waiting for the dog to finish him. Was he really nursing or just picking? My dog is a saint, & I never let merlin close enough to bite her. He will fly to her back sometimes, I guess it could happen to me. Wonder if the dog had bit & swallowed the bird would they have posted that video.

Sometimes some people really do tempt fate. I would never let any of my birds torment my dogs like that. Even though i know my dogs would never hurt my parrots you just never can be that sure.

My goodness! I cracked up when I saw the clearly irritated dog "bite" her own leg instead of going for the bird...WOW! Good dog!

Sadly though...there may come a day...as much as I love my birds and my dogs...I wouldn't be taking that chance.

But cute video none the less...how the bird started "preening" all over the dog.

What a good, patient dog!! That beak could have hurt her nipple. This is a catastrophe waiting to happen. :eek:In my work, I've known many birds that were not nearly so lucky as this bird. Even though it worked out okay, I think it's irresponsible parrot ownership. Besides, I've always heard that birds should not drink milk.
