I have been considering what feathered friend I want for my new home, which is a two room cabin (technically three, but one is closed off)—my bedroom and a living room/kitchen. I was considering a macaw since I plan to build a large outdoor aviary as well as have an indoor cage, but decided I am going to play to my current space and get a smaller buddy. I have been looking around for good Quaker breeders who have lutino or yellow dark eyed Quakers, but I’ve noticed some sites and ads that I think may be iffy on whether or not they are ethical in how they breed (and some whom I am not sure are real at all!). Does anyone have any good experiences with people who are experienced breeding Quakers and breed the lutino morph that they are willing to share? They don’t have to have yellow Quakers available ASAP—Getting on a waitlist for the future is fine.

I am in North Central Texas, about two hours west of Dallas, but I am good with shipping from elsewhere. Driving to Austin is fine, but Houston is too far.
