I was wondering that if I cooked in a crockpot it would be safe for a bird that is in the same room???:green2::green2:

I don't see why not, as it's safe to simmer food on the stove if a bird's around. Are you concerned about leaving electronics on in the house while you're away?

No, just wondering, because we cook a lot of things in the crockpot and wanted to make sure it was safe for Kiwi our Hahn's, thanks!

Sho is, as long as they can't fly to it and land on the hot edges or lid. There is no teflon coatings or stuff like to burn off and fume them to death.

We do it pretty regularly because cooking in the crock pot is EZ.
