I was doing some cleaning with Bob on my shoulder and he started squaking very softly. He did it for about twenty minutes. Now that I have stopped cleaning so has Bob.

I have cleaned with him on my shoulder before and he never made that noise so I am a little concerned.

I am not super familiar with cockatiels but it doesn't sound too worrying. I know my GCC makes different noises depending on what he's doing or what we're doing. Sometimes different activities warrant different types of chatter, even if you've done that activity before. If he seemed otherwise happy, he's probably OK. See if you have a different cleaning tool that maybe made him a bit leery. I know that Charlie is OK with the vacuum, but is terrified of the Roomba and brooms!
