Less Active After Clipping?

Curry the Indian Ringneck
Are birds typically less active after a wing clipping? Unfortunately I had to clip Curry's wings to make handling easier. I'm starting to think Curry is getting territorial to the cage so I gotta keep him/her away from the cage. But ever since I got back yesterday Curry has been standing in one spot, fluffed up, on one leg. Curry gets active when we go up to the cage and Curry is eating and drinking.

Bacca (Quaker)
Bacca completely forgets she's clipped and does a few less than graceful plummets for a few days. She only flies in desparation anyhow. If she wants to get somewhere these days she's more apt to climb off the perch and run across the floor (I actually think she's stomping at me when she finds she has to come to me rather than me coming to her0.

Birds who are busy eating and drinking often don't want to be interrupted whether it's in the cage or on a perch. You better be holding a treat if you interrupt Bacca.
