That's the 2nd time today that I notice Pixel poops black feces... Waiting for her to um PRODUCE more, and I called the vet (waiting for the call back) but I'm wondering, what could it be? I don't feed her blueberries or blackberries (No fans of the stuff here.).

Do you think it could be her anti inflammatories?

I don't know if the anti-inflamatories Pixel is on for her toe could cause stool color change, but black stool is sometimes a sign of bleeding in the digestive tract, which is not a good thing. It can also be cauased by dark colored foods, like you mentioned... But if she hasn't eatten anything that could acount for it I think you've done the right thing by contacting the vet. Maybe he/she can give you an answer. Does her poop look normal otherwise?

Otherwise it's very normal, yea. The vet never called back *grumble*.

I'll she what she poops this morning. Last night I saw hopeful signs of it turning back to a more regular color...

EDIT: Yay! It is normal this morning. :D Maybe she ate something I didn't see.
