Hi all!
I am a fairly new member to the forum and my husband and I have just completed an indoor aviary and have started working on exterior cages for the better weather.
Winged Buddies Aviary specializes in parrot rescue and adoption, when possible, to enhance the quality of life for large companion birds. We do this through rehabilitation (when needed) combined with proper health care and the education of the potential bird owner in proper bird care practices.
We are located in Winfield, BC and receive birds from owners who are no longer able to care for them for various reasons. Most birds that are ‘surrendered’ come from caring homes, but occasionally, some do not. Those are the birds that need the most love, work and rehab and may not be eligible to be re-homed. We are a network of bird lovers who determine the needs of each bird and place them accordingly or provide forever homes.
