Hello Moderators of parrot forums!

I had two recommendations:

1) It would be cool if there was a chat room that we could chat in real time.

2) If you could make a board that was by location that would be great! not for every city naturally but by state would be cool. For example, I am in Chicago and because the city is apartments its hard to find the select people who have birds in the city but I'd like some parront friends!

Thank you in advance for considering these :)

I can certainly ask our Admin about this. :)

Please note, members can create "social groups". Then there is this thing called Zello that members can "chat" through. :)

I am a member of the macaw and amazon groups, and the last time I looked, neither had much activity going on. I have never been in a chat room before, but I think it may be beneficial to all of us in one way or another. It would definitely save somebody some money on phone bills. ;)

Check out this link, Denise: Zello walkie-talkie app

It's a program you install onto your PC, and you use it like a walkie-talkie. Of course members who wish to "chat" have to install the program as well. :)

I'd suggest someone creates a social group and call it "Chat via Zello" or something along those lines, and there is your chat room.

There's also Teamspeak, Ventrilo (Vent) and Skype. Haven't heard of Zello before, but it sounds like an interesting program.
