Sylvarie Jenday Conure
well my wife wanted a bunny, and i have Sylvarie the Jenday Conure. so we went out and adopted a loop ear for her. now Sylvarie is not acting as friendly as he was, refuses to step up at times and drew blood on my finger for the first time today. i have stopped bringing to bunny into the same room with him as i believe he is getting jealous of it, and acting out toward me. is there any suggestions how to sooth his ruffled feathers?

I would try to keep them separated until the rabbit settles in. I saw that video it was funny! Things should smooth over in time....what really helps is rabbits are quiet so there will be no sounding off contests. :)

Yey bunnies! If you have any questions regarding bunny care, please feel free to ask away! I have two and they're my pride and joy (asides from my birdies) so please askaskask!

Right now it probably is jealousy, slow introductions and don't ignore Sylvarie when the bun is in the same room. Act as though nothing is different! :)
