Hubby recently got vision insurance through his job and itās been 6-7 years since I last got a eye exam or new glasses, which I do have to wear all the time (though I donāt think my prescription has actually changed since I was in my late teens). Anywho, I currently have ādesignerā frames and the frames in the insurance coverage budget are for brands Iāve never heard of (that or pay extra for designer, which I donāt particularly want to do).
So I was trying to decide if I should just have new lenses put in my old frames or get new ones that arenāt as high quality. I decided to really examine my frames and discovered some very unusual marks on one side on the temple piece. I couldnāt fathom what they were. Iām pretty careful with my glasses. These were 3 long shallow gouges, look like miniature demon claw marks from a horror movie. Then it hit me- *looks like mini-demon claw marks*.... now what in my home could make something like that, I wonder:16::33::20: Yup, it is the shoulder a certain sometimes sits upon and while he doesnāt go after my glasses per se, if heās very eager to get down he will grab my glasses to let me know he wants down (not in a break them way just grabbing to get my attention). So ya, I have beak marks on the side of my glasses lol. Thinking Iāll get the new frames and designate these the āparrot glassesā from now on
