Ankle Fracture

My female, Chikoo, has fractured her ankle. The vet put a splint on it today, and said if its going to heal that it will within a week. So we'll see. I'm sure it will heal.

I'm just wondering if there are any dietary changes I should make at this time to help her. She also happens to be moulting and going through a phase of feather plucking.

Should I increase her protein?

Is she on pellets? If so, maybe you should switch her to a high potency formula, this is also good for molting. Pellets aren't said to be the best for eclectus, so only include a little bit.
