Bread safe for birds?

And why would baking powder be bad for birds? It has sodium bicarbonate and tartaric acid. The bicarbonate ion is found naturally in blood, and acts as a buffer, and tartaric acid comes from grapes.

This is the only bread we eat in my house now....it is super easy to make & very inexpensive. I use 100% stone ground whole wheat bread flour tho. I also put things like flax seeds & hemp hearts in it to make it more of a multigrain. I use a mini muffin tin & make mini loafs for Felix .....he never liked store bought bread that I bought but he gobbles this up so quick it is gone before I know it....
