Here it is!
gemster-albums-1-picture21749-chop-10-9-19.jpg

I flattened the vegetables out in the bags so that it is easier to smash the frozen chop to make little pieces that I defrost over time. :)

I do that too, they stack better that way.

Again, have some new ingredients so here we go:

Radish
Parsley
Sweet Potato
Zucchini
Sugar Snap Peas
Red Pepper
Quinoa
Swiss Chard
Dill
Mint
Basil
Cilantro

I’ve decided that “eat like a bird” should be the new diet fad!

I like this dollor store find for serving breakfast. Today was cranberries, blackberries, kale, romaine, broccoli, last bit of asparagus, peas, fresh pumpkin seeds, and some pellets.

So sorry to be responding so late to your beautifully plated bird buffet. Love it! When I was in China, my translator told me that we eat with our eyes before we eat with our mouths. Your plating is a feast for both.

After my trip, I was sick and not online as frequently. With my health issues, that will probably happen again. It doesn't mean I've forgotten my online bird friends, just not able to check on things as often.

Thank you!
I hope you fell better. We do what we can. I had a lapse as well before. I have MG and sometimes it's a struggle to function as an upright human so I get it!
You will definitely have to share some of your China highlights!!!!! And favorite feast!

Here is a small meal I feed the birds every so often, it contains egg, couscous, pasta and chia seeds.
Sorry, the image isn’t the best

A small snack that I thought I’d give a try.
Carrot and pear mash, the pear is really only there for a pleasurable flavour.
Like always, the budgies loved it, ate till they were full and let’s just say that Gemma was okay with it. (Next time I’ll need to use apple!)

Sorry for not keeping this thread updated, there just aren’t as many interesting plates anymore! Just plain veggies... not decorated.
Here’s a plate that was made today, it consists of carrots, bell peppers, green beans, sweet potato, corn and swede with a sprinkle of flax, chia and sesame seeds.

Hmm, that’s strange, I can see the pictures..
I tried re-uploading the images on the same post, i hope that works.

When I first saw ‘parrot math’, i realised it was perfect because I know that Gemma wouldn’t hesitate to take a finger or two if I stole 2 walnuts from her.

As someone who lived for 15+ years as a strict vegetarian (not vegan, but strict...) I feel like these look a lot like my breakfasts lol!
I never have eaten traditional US breakfast foods (rarely, even as a kid)--- I don't get cereal...Haven't purchased it ever lol! Rice and eggs...yes...leftovers...yes...soup...salads..etc! I used to eat rice and soy sauce, or grits as a kid for breakfast...eggs+ veg or soup in high school...whatever the heck I want now...I wish I weren't so weird haha!

I think your parrots look like they have a lovely breakfast! I would happily eat the same things, I think (with some added salt ;) )

For those who cannot see the pics, I’ll try to post them a different method.
