bump at base of tail

I know this has been posted before but I was just feeling up my bird and felt a little lump at the base of her tail/lowback

i was able to push some feathers around without her getting mad (and no, she's not been tested to confirm sex).

any thoughts?

That's their Uropygial gland.....their preen gland.....



I guess that those who only do a small amount of "just feeling up my bird" might not know that.....
