could somebody tell me if i can keep a meyers in a cage 2ftx2ftx3ft tall
with 1 inch horizontal bars

yes. that would be fine. it would be a small masion to him actually. i have a gold capped conure in 22x22x24 & he looks so small in it. you will be fine.
