Amazons, seem to be the most intense with their clownish behaviors and their mood swings. They kind of remind me of a terrier if they were to be a dog.
Funny how birds, even from the same group vairy so much. Like humans I guess.
My amazon is 14 years old yet she rarely plays with anything. When she's out she'll just sit on me. Totally ignoring everything else.... Except glasses she seems to like them!!! I wish my bird was more of a clown, if yours is.... You're lucky!!
I think kea parrot is known to be 'the'most playful parrot tho, even in the wild everything seems like. Big game!!!

Zons do mellow with age. Teenagers can be a real handful and "settle" down as they get into the 20"s or so. That being said ,sometimes the old timer act like teenagers,LOL.
