Hello,

I have just adopted a turquoise pineapple green cheek conure.

Kiwi is about a month old and her wings look like a very deep green.

Her flight feathers are showing some turquoise at the ends of her feathers.

Do you think kiwis feathers will eventually turn more turquoise with age?

Post some pics if you don't mind , They dont change much . maybe slightly more brilliant. The turquoise are usually from what I've seen are all turquoise on the back and wings , the pineapples are brilliant green on the backs and wings.

Looks like my little guy. Did you get your bird from a breeder ? Judging by the pic I would say normal coloration for a pineapple. A turquoise looks more like the tops of the flight feathers.

Yes I did. The older turquoise pineapple present at the breeder did look turquoise but had more of a green undertone to it in comparison to the full turquoise conures.
It’s tummy does display a turquoise pineapple mutation so I’m confused...

Oh ok, some breeders seem to drop the Turquoise coloration as a selling point or more money even at the slightest mutation. Hard to say but its a cutie.
