Decoding leg bands?

I was wondering if anyone knew how to decode leg bands. I wanted to try and see if I could find out who Lola's breeder was and find out a little more information about her, like her exact age and if she was DNA gender tested or if she was only guessed to be a female by her last owner. Lola's leg band says M&S 041. Theres also a small oval with the letters NJ inside. Im guessing, since I live in New Jersey, that means she was banded in New Jersey?
