Hi,

today i made my first chop mash.
Thankfully it is to their taste,i got 5 kilo's.
I used:

bell peppers
Brussels sprouts
broccoli
carrot
red beets
green beans
walnut
brown rice
small pasta shells
Except for the pasta and rice,i ran everything raw trough the food processor.
Should i change anything?
I put everything in ice cube trays,as i read from a thread of an other user(thank you).
I did notice juice in the bottom of the bowl,it will make great Popsicle's for when it gets warmer .

Hi,
Could someone tell me if the broccoli and the green beans should have been cooked?
I bought a book yesterday ans it said not to give them raw.
It is a book written by an parrot owner.
Is it safe to give them the chop mix?or should i put it in the oven for some time before serving?

No, the broccoli and the green beans are perfectly fine raw. :)

The only veggies I cook thoroughly are mixed beans and yams.

I sometimes lightly cook carrot, pumpkin and beets (things like that) but mainly just for something different =)
