Favorite things to do with parrot.

What are your favorite things to do with your parrot? Mine are as follows:

1. Give him scritchies
2. Surf the net.
3. Read a novel.
4. Watch a movie.
5. Listen to Music.

I think that is one of the coolest things about parrots. It seems they are happy to do what you like to do so long as they can be with you when you are doing it. Quantity time, food, and scritchies are the keys to the heart of a parrot. At least they were the keys to Cracker's heart.

I think Zig's favorite thing we do together is shower It's kind of funny, the other night it was a little to late for her to be getting a shower(I don't want her going to bed wet), so I got in by myself, I didn't realize how much I had gotten used to having her with me and being able to talk to her while in the shower. I came upstairs and looked at my bf and just said,"well that was kind of lonely" lol. I told him it was weird taking a shower and not having some one to talk to the whole time... I think he thinks I'm a wee bit nuts lol.

My number one favorite thing to do with Apple is listen to music and sing... He loves to chatter along when I sing to him and bobs his head up and down, looks like he is dancing. Second favorite is giving him head and neck rubs, I won hi over with those.

Bean and I love to sing LOUDLY together, and dance. I may be a horrible dancer, but he loves it. With Ida it has to be taking her for walks outside or taking her to the local pet store. Chico loves hanging out and watching TV with me.

I take Rio out when I have to go and water the flowers and bushes. I usually mist her down for a few minutes and let her dry off while I water the plants. Samba loves to hand out on my desk when I check e-mail, surf the web, or read a book.

Nic loves to sing and dance with my 3 & 4 year old boys. I will need to post a video of it sometime...too funny.

After the kids are in bed in the evening, I enjoy hanging out, watching TV and doing some errands around the house with him.

It kills me to watch him "waddling" around behind, following me as I walk from room to room with a laundry basket.

(I could watch him climb up and hop down the stairs all day, it's hysterical)

Guido has lately taken to chirping sueaking and squaking while I play guitar. He REALLY gets into it though when I play along to some AC/DC cranked up. Really does the whole rockstar thing. Bobs his head up and down "sings" the most funny nonsesne sounds and dances around his favorite perch. The little punk still wont let me touch him but at least he seems to enjoy my playing

Hahaha aren't birds just the best??!!

I'd have to say one of my favorite things to do with each of my birds is watch youtube videos of other birds of their type.

At least my birds have quite the reaction to seeing other birds performing on the computer screen. My husband was cracking up with our tiel...Chicken Little...he'd watch every video clip I clicked on...then when it was over and I clicked on a new one...he'd lean forward toward the screen, stretch out and **** his head sideways seemingly in anticipation of the video starting, once it started, he'd sit back up right and watch with his head slightly cocked to the side...and occasionally...he had something to say back to the birds on the computer. LOLOL!! I could also tell if it was a video he wasn't interested in, he'd walk closer to my cheek and look at me like..okay Mom..this one is boring...NEXT! And if I didn't change the video, he'd start preening until it was over!

ROFLOLOL!!! It's too funny!

Must be a jenday thing! Alex loves to get on top of my harp while I'm playing. He also loves to mess with the pins and make it alllll out of tune for me.

Alex's favourite things to do involve pulling the keys off my laptop, perching on my laptop and running over the keyboard. All while I'm trying to do uni assignments. He also loves to snuggle into the bed with me when I read a book, and loves scritches, especially under wing scratches. Say 'wings up' and he'll stick them up for scratches.

Pickles and I are just started to get acquainted with each other, but so far he's a big cuddler.

I love to take a shower with Rosie. She watches and listens so intently. It is a good chance to sing and talk to her.

I love to watch my GCC Cricket taking a dunk in a water bowl. He is so funny.

I like to play with them, and let them play in the yard which is like a forest to them lol.

Merlin & I sing together, he throws in a little ahh & a MERLIN every now & then. We also like to take showers together (he doesnt get wet, just keeps me company).
