One Goffins cockatoo. I would love more but she hates other birds!
When feeding chop/mash do you limit the amount of time you give your birds to eat it and then take it out so they’ll continue to eat pellets or do you leave the chop all day for them to eat on?

I leave it out all day. I offer it in the morning first thing and she usually eats a lot of it while I eat my breakfast.

I pick it up because it starts to smell and we use a lot of veg and other stuff that doesn’t keep well at room temp! But YMMV depending on what you are using.

I serve mine frozen and leave it out in the morning for about four hours, by then it's not its best anymore and they've eaten a lot of it. I then mix in some vegetables with harrisons mash as their lunch or dinner depending on what shift I'm on and if I have a day off or not and that gets completely eaten most days.

Yellow Shoulder Amazon, Salty
Salty gets his chop dinner around 6:30 PM and he goes to bed at 10 PM. In that time period, he generally eats 80% of the chop offered.
