flying harness

I would love to take my Eclectus 'Buzz' outside to play in the garden. Are flying harnesses good and if so what age is best to start. Buzz is 5 months old.:)

+1 for Aviator, but like said, definitely weigh the bird first. I went on "size suggestion" for my U2, and the medium harness was way too small for her. Medium is a 450-600 gram harness, turns out she's over 700 grams. (Don't tell her I told you her weight.)

Yeah the aviator harnesses are a great design and very dependable but you have to train your bird to get into them as they really fight if they don't like them. Anyway, its good to meet another Australian on this forum, goodluck. :D
