When we bought Nadia from a petstore in town we were told she was more than likely in fact a she. Its been a little over a month now, and her cere is turning a light blue. From what I've read, this indicates a male parakeet. Would it be possible that its only temporary, and will adjust to the correct female color within a few months, I think she's about seven months old now, and I need to know if she is the correct pronoun, or if I should consider male names before he or she gets used to Nadia.

You need a more clear better pic. From what I can see of it, seems to be a girl to me. Males in that color have dark blue cere. The light blue is females. When female matures and ready to breed their cere turns crusty brown and lose it when they're out of breeding mood.
