Even though I lost Jess my Congo male last week, I still want to visit. The support was what go me through. I have an older quarter horse Hank who is doing well, but I need to visit him. I don't like cold barns...also want to get a Port-o-Trike, adult tricycle to ride the rail trail that leads to the barn, that would be a nice break from work. Then I'll just spend time with him grooming, sitting in the law chair and tanning while he grazes and enjoying him. My kitties are a big comfort.

You guys are great.

RIP Gandalf and Big Bird, you are missed.
Spending some time with Hank will be immensely therapeutic. Should help transfer some grief into love and togetherness!

So many of us have experienced the loss of a beloved companion bird, and often it is community that keeps us marching forward.
