I would also like to add to that article, be careful if you are trying to sell your house. My realtor came in here for an open house, and she lit candles and sprayed air freshener everywhere without even asking me. She liked the "flowery" smell. Thankfully the chins weren't affected and I didn't have the birds yet, because I understand that could have killed them!!

We are about to list the house again, and that is the first thing I will make them write down - no aerosols, no candles. I clean with vinegar based products and freshen with citrus based products, and that will have to be good enough.
