Oh, we have links to a tame corella for sure! Enjoy the saga of Hannah and Sunny, a slender-billed corella. Her beloved Sunny has gone missing, and I'm not sure of her proximity to Perth. Posting them in chronological order... enjoy!

Currently I have none, but I have the capacity to adopt a minimum and maximum of two budgies - preferably a bonded pair or two males.

There are two Corellas in Western Australia -

1. The Little

and the rarer

2. Western

Which one is visiting you?

What kind of corella is visiting you? Does it come with wild flocks or on its own? Also, is anyone posting 'lost' ads in your area? I'd be devvoed if my precious Rosetta got out! (In fact, she *did* get out early on, but was too scared to fly away and came home again - thank Heaven!)

Tell us what you need to know and we'll try to help. :)

PS. I'm on the east coast and my corella's a Little Corella.

Video from OP's POTM submission. Not familiar with Corella variants, but this is not "Sunny."

Bill and right eye patch resembles Little Corella. But the Left eye wattle is somewhat similar to the Western Corella.

I guess a Little Corella only.

im thinking a little corella? I’ve yet to study up on the western...is that a long bill?
Today she ( just guessing the sex) was being really affectionate after I gave her a branch from the local roosting tree...some type of gum with seeds she enjoys...she spread her wings out on my arm for a tickle & closed her eyes...then was beating her beak up and down on my arm...is this some type of mating thing?

Sorry, I gave you a half reply to your post before..she roosts with the flock of an evening & returns to us at sunrise and sleeps by herself in a neighbouring tree a lot of the day in between keeping an eye out for me...when she spy’s me she flys straight onto my shoulder...I posted on Facebook etc & still look for a possible owner, but nothing.
Glad Rosetta came back to you!
