I got my macaw before she was a year old. She is a blue and gold, and is a sweet bird (with limits of course lol!). I rescued her with my dad from a ghetto in indianapolis. She was in the same room as many pitbull puppies and what not just filth in general. We gave her a loving home where she is taken care of and is loved. She can be quite the clown. I would also like to reccomend a place where I take my bird sometimes for boarding is Amy's birds in mitchell indiana.
