Hi All

I'm new here, mum to 2 parrots, sun conure called Willow and a pineapple conure called Olive.
Does anyone know what this anomaly on sun conure is. It's on the side of her face. It doesn't seem to bother her, but any suggestions welcome. Many thanks

It would not be normal for that area to wet like that without receiving a misting shower or head due.

Likely an infection!
Recommend a visit to your Avian Vet, ASAP!

I agree with sailboat above. That wetness is definitely abnormal unless it's just had a bath or something

Welcome and be welcomed. I agree with our other members, that needs to be seen by a Certified Avian Vet, for diagnosis and treatment. TO me looks like a infected feather site, you can see the abnormal feather stalk sticking out a tiny bit. But please see a CAV.

The "hole" is her ear and perhaps it's draining fluid because of infection. Please get him to an avian vet!

Many thanks for all your response and advice. I really appreciate it. I've booked her in for Monday as the vet are busy. But they said she should be OK till then..
