How did you choose your birds name??

By their colors, Pepsi, because the bottle of Pepsi matches some of his colors, Sprite, because of the bottle too.

I tend to refer to the bird I am talking to as .........well......bird. So much so that some were named bird 1, bird 2 and bird 3. The latest, Lulu, was named by SWMBO but even then I tend to call her just bird.

The trouble is finding a name that will get used is a nightmare. Were the pet a dog I doubt I'd call it a name other than dog but that sounds a bit wrong. I hate names like rover. I can't bring myself to use human's names like Jenny or Sam.

Mine havent got exotic names....they didnt have a names when i got them (despite being 1-2 years old) They seemed to take a liking to a certain song from the film dirty dancing so i named them Baby and Johnny.
