Hi. I'm Pritti's flockmate. He is 32 years old this month. Today he has been walking around the top of a bed in guest bedroom (covered with "his" sheet), then climbed down the side, underneat, checked out every inch of what was under there (not much), then climbed back up and further up to my shoulder. In otherwords, he's an energetic, active 32 year-old cherry-headed conure. What accounts for his older age -- who knows -- but I am sure these things have a bearing:
One family his whole life.
Tons of positive attention.
Treated like a family member with respect and love.
Healthy diet (was not always so earlier in his life).
Regular a-vet visits.
Healthy environment (air, light, chemical-free as much as is controllable).
