is my shower water ok to shower my bird with ?

both of our showers in the house have filters in them there's basically salt in the water to keep it clean. i really need to shower my 10 month old CAG because her skin is pretty dry and the area around her beak is very dirty and sticky from eating pomegranates LOL. can i shower her with the water in my house?

If you have filters to remove minerals, like salt, it should be fine.

Just a double check; You are using stand alone filters to 'soften' (break-up the minerals in the supply water) which is likely helping you and keeping the shower cleaning, right.

If so, as stated by my good friend above, you will be fine and your Parrot with love a deep shower. Take your time introducing your baby, as it is not likely use to being rained on.
