Korben is Weaning!

OK, So our big boy is ready to be eating something more than his baby food!! Vet gave the clear said " I can start giving him thicker formula in a bowl and see what he does with it.. Can anyone give me what's the best way to weaning him with out a huge weight loss! Also he's still on 3 feedings about 120cc-109 depending on how busy he is and he likes to drop alot of it out of his mouth!!

any foods he might find fun right now?

what a pretty baby. I have never had a macaw but when my amazon was weaning I soaked parrot biscuit in hot water once soft mush it up with a fork and let her have it. You could also add apple juice or fruit/veggie baby food. She loved eating it while it was warm. Good luck
