- From little to big - currently 6 Linnies; 2 Budgies; 1 BHP; 2 CAGs; 2 Zons; 1 GWM. Formerly in the flock: 1 LSC2 [fostered/rehomed] RIP: 1 budgie 1 WCP & 1 sweet Pan Am
Only I-81 because it is the easiest transport route. My local avian vet is out-of-town for weeks at a time right now & I'm looking for back-up.
The closest other avian vet I can find in south-central PA is 1 1/2 hours away. I tried the list from the Assn. of Avian Vets & also the sticky list at the top of this forum.
Ideally, I'd like to stay within an hour - so Hagarstown, MD (maybe Martinsburg, WV) north on I-81 to Lebanon, PA, or somewhere along the PA Turnpike from the Blue Mountain Interchange to maybe Rt. 72 (Lancaster/Lebanon).
Or anywhere inside that vague geography.
Anyone know anyone? Also, if you know anyone in that area you personally would avoid, if you could PM me that information, I'd appreciate it, too.
My Plan B would be Philly or Baltimore area, but both are almost 2 hours, one way, and I'd like something closer.
Any suggestions welcome - thanks!
