I did like Spiritbird and MikeyTN suggested and took it a lot slower this time around. Rather than sticking my arm in the shower with him on it. I took him in the bathroom, turned on the water and sat at the edge of the tub with him and let the water run for a couple of minutes. I then started splashing my other arm in the water. I decided to stand up inside the shower with Mac on my arm. He quickly headed up to my shoulder and perched. I had a T-shirt and shorts on so he would have something to grab and not slide off like last time.
He sat on my shoulder and then started opening his wings and seemed to actually enjoy the bath. He wasn't jumping around and coming unglued like the last time. He seemed to be a lot less traumatized afterwards as well. He's not pouting and moody or pinchy like he was the last time for hours after the first bath fiasco. So now that he seems to like to take a bath with me, I will have to get him a shower perch.
