Male and female conure mating?

Why is my female conure turning to hump my male??

So I have a female and male conure, lola and Charlie are in separate cages next to each other. Charlie is around year and half and lola is about 7 months, lola is the pineapple! They have both been dna tested but lately when I have been getting them out lola seems to want to hump Charlie? Is this normal for a female to do it to a male?

Thought it should of been the other way round 😊 lol..

No ive had charlie a little long then lola, when we brought charlie home we sent of for the dna and it came back male. Then we got lola who was already dna by the breeder and it was female.

Ah, I was going to say maybe the samples were accidentally switched. Lol

nope lol, maybe she still figuring things out with still being young.
