He's probably still a bit clumsy and doesn't know what to do with his feet all the time. You can just push under his belly VERY gently, or even try getting him to step up from behind. They'll learn it really quickly.
Any advice on this would be great . I've tried luring him with treats and rewarding him for now when he puts one foot up for now, I can barely get him to do that. He seems equally freaked of hand vs stick to teach this...
