Mine will be 42 soon... (We think. She was wild caught.) So, this one is probably more like a family heirloom.

How exciting! I'm betting she is pooped from her flight, but in the next few days I don't think anyone would complain about a couple photos of the new baby:54: I've heard lilac crowned are some of the more calm and gentle species of amazon, so i bet you will form a great bond with her in no time at all

I must say, the number of humans owned by amazons is increasing every day it seems. You macaw and cockatoo peoples better catch up or the stocky green army is going to take over

Hehe. Thanks for reminding me..... I stand to inherit 3 "heirlooms" of the feathered variety, 2 being amazons. All are similar in age to your oldest baby. All are very healthy and 'lively' still too:52: Our (future) children stand to inherit one heirloom who was older when we adopted him, so he will be quite a crotchety old thing (I'm sure) by the time we kick the bucket:09:
