Our Kai, sleeping in a "nest." Currently a dishrag hammock, we will get her a nicer bed soon. One evening about a month ago our now 7 month old BG was "nesting" on my husband's chest at bed time going to sleep. I thought maybe she would like a hammock so I slit the corners of the rag and tied it up in the top front corner of her cage. She sleeps in it every night, naps in it during the day, or just hangs out in it. She has not pooped in it yet. She is our first macaw so I am not sure if this is normal behavior but she sure is cute to tuck in each night!
