I work at Old Friends Thoroughbred Retirement, we are the only "rescue" farm that takes in stallions in the United States and we currently have 126 horses. Falcon Scott was one of them. He was donated by a very wealthy, well known man in the horse racing industry. I fell in love with this horse at first sight, didn't know a thing about him. He was this young & full of himself bay stallion with an awkward blaze and 3 white socks. He was super sweet and had quite the personality. I spent every day with this horse and grew more & more attached to him. We don't usually adopt out so I just never thought he would ever be mine. The farm owner & I were in the office talking one day when I mentioned that I would love to have Falcon. He was young and retired sound, no injuries. He looked at me and said "I'd let you have him for free, let me talk to Jerry(the owner that donated him) and run the idea past him." Anyways, Jerry thought it was a good idea and Falcon was scheduled to be gelded (neutered) and when he was done recovering ..... he could come home with me. Turns out I have very good taste in horses, he was never a great race horse, only made $68,000 but he has quite the pedigree. He is half brother to Giacomo & Tiago and he comes from the same farm as Zenyatta I love this horse to pieces. I'd like to introduce Falcon, my fashionable 9 year old Thoroughbred gelding.
He looks good in zebra print
Trying his new saddle on
He didn't know I was watching him boss the other horse around, caught him off guard
This is my favorite picture of him
