Are there any supplements that will give my bird the calcium he needs?
He used to eat the cuttlebone but doesn't seem to be now.

Thanks in advance!

Have you ever heard people say, “when I feel like I’m craving hamburger I realize I’m only craving meat so will eat fish or chicken“.

Birds will often eat things only when they know they need them, nutritionally speaking . Cuttlebone is a primary supposed calcium. If your bird is not deficient in calcium, it will not have a craving for it and therefore will actively avoid enriched calcium sources.

He’s likely not eating it because he doesn’t need it.

what breed? like cockatiels need a little gravel, conures do not. Some birds need a cuttlebone, some do not?

I did not notice that chris-MD thank you for making me feel silly....... Sigh no your cool you're awesome. Thanks.
