Nova update

She has settled in to life with us really well. She lively and sassy and has just discoved the joys of scritches! And shes addicted to them.

Shes a greedy little thing and is willing to try anything we put in front of her , especially if shes seen Albie munching it. She loves the pellets and she tried some fresh chop for the first time today !

We have introduced the girlies and while they arent best buddies yet they will sit fairly close to each other . If either gets too close to the other they have a tiny squabble and be chased off . But there has been nothing to show any aggression. They play on each others cages and will go and eat from each others food and water bowls which we have plenty of in the room.

Nova loves her toys and isnt afraid of anything so far .


She sleeps really well in her cozy cage and shes found her voice during the day . Shes so adorable !

Awwwwwwwww, what a wonderful update, I'm so glad Nova and Albie are getting along! All sisters have their squabbles every now and then I guess, and even if they're never the very best of besties, I think they'll be wonderful company for each other 💖 💖

I honestly expected the worst especially with albie being an only bird , but weve made sure to still dote on her and that albie and i have time to just us (usually when im having a bath after work , tried with both and it was not relaxing!)

Oh and she loves people , she was very happily saying hello to new people and was going from person to person on her own accord before finally coming to us after she had enough.

It was a nice experience as we dont have that with albie as we never had chance to socialise her properly so we have to watch her like a hawk for any "im annoyed so im gonna bite" signs with guests and we cant truly relax when shes out with guests
