I have an ekkie hen that I love dearly. Til now I have only raised smaller birds but I am ready to try ekkies. I have done lots of research, but one question I cannot find the answer to is:
How old is too old to pair them?
I have an opp to buy a 9 year old hen and an 11 year old male, from two totally different pet homes. Due to their age and never having bred, is this unlikely to be successful? Or just as good a chance as any other pairing?
I am not choosing to breed my pet, these would be totally new birds to me.
