Pest control near home

I live in a town house and my next door neighbor is having pest control done. I don’t know what kind I only recently saw the vehicle in their driveway on my ring doorbell while I’m at work. I was wondering if I should be worried about my birds being affected since our houses are connected. I couldn’t find anyone else with a similar experience.
