Playing Budgie Sounds for Lone Budgies?

I recently got my first ever bird and I was wondering if it's okay to play budgie sounds to it as I've done it a few times and his reaction is rather positive (he chirps, flaps his wings and moves around the cage). Thank you for your help!

Oh bless him. Is he looking for his friend thinking that you have found him a playmate that he can't find? I leave music on for Syd and he sings and dances along.

I would play budgie sounds when I got my first ( single) budgie. The excitement he showed when hearing other budgies was one of the reasons I decided to get a second budgie. I think it’s perfectly fine to play budgie noises for your bird so long as he seems to enjoy it! ❤️
