Actually, I've found that the bar spacing and ease of access (in other words: cages with big doors) affect the time it takes to clean the cage more than the cage size itself. Of course this only applies to an extent, but the further apart the bars, the fewer bars, the less surface one must clean.

Do you think this is to darker cage? PS it's new and I've 2 boxes of toys to go in. I think it maybe to dark so thinking sending back. I only have small windowsso bit concerned as Eckies need sunlight and worried cage colour effects light.

Here's a pic of Nigel's new cage just as I had finished asembling it. He's doing well in it, I'm adding a toy every other day so as not to overload him.

Hmm don't know why the pic is upside down! Sorry.

Mine has been uploaded sideways so wouldnt worry it must be something to do with the way the site uploads pics. As mine wasnt taken sideways.
