Oh yeah, I've seen that video, he is one talented parrot! And of course a dedicated parront too. I might have to steal a few of those tricks for Salty, but really for us, it's not about how complicated a trick might be or how many Salty learns. For Salty and I it's a way to build our relationship , our trust of each other and keep his so clever a brain stimulated. The reason I put his videos up on Youtube is to show other owners how easy it is to teach parrots and engage them in the actual learning experience. I believe that once they understand that they CAN learn, they are eager TO learn. It's like a feedback loop. Once a parrot learns that he can learn new things they want to learn more! Salty is so excited to try new tricks that he literally hops from foot to foot in anticipation. And I have to come up new tricks to keep him from getting bored.
