Looking for cute or funny sayings and whistles to teach Mj
Currently she wolf whistles, says tickle tickle tickle when she wants a scratch.
I'm hoping she'll start talking more. We hear her kind of practicing when she thinks no one is around.
She's a little over 6 months old now.
I believe greys really start talking after 6 months?

When Grey talk really depend on the bird itself. I have know some people whose bird talked up a storm very early and some whose bird didn't start talking words for the first few years. That's not the case with mine though. He picks up on everything he hears so we have to be really careful. We are trying to get him to say good morning when we uncover his cage in the morning but are unsuccessful as of yet.

Greybeard, M. Congo AG h03/09
I taught Greybeard to say this WWII movie ditty following his wolf whistle:

"Hubba Hubba,
Ding ding,
Baby, you got everything."

I've also taught him,
"Hey good lookin',
Watcha' got cookin'?
How 'bout cookin' somethin' up with me?"

He has trouble with the leading S in somethin', so sometimes he says,
"How 'bout cookin' .. me?"

"Pirate parrot picked a peck of pickled peppers."

Since our recent trip, he often says,
"Hit the road, Toad."
"Go bye bye."
He means it, too.

If your bird is saying that much at six months they will probably pick up all sorts of things with time! Try youtube-ing talking parrot videos and that will give you lots of inspiration!
